The Walsh Exchange, to be inaugurated this April 13-15 at Georgetown University, presents a first-of-its-kind opportunity for enterprising undergraduate international relations scholars to showcase their work, receive feedback, network with thought leaders in international affairs, and meet their peers from different universities. The conference centers on paper presentations but also includes numerous social and entertainment activities, including a keynote speech, reception, and awards ceremony. This year, we are working to acquire tickets for participants to Georgetown’s famed Diplomatic Ball, presenting a rare opportunity to meet top foreign officials at the most prestigious event of Georgetown’s social calendar.
If you have conducted exceptional research in some area of international affairs, we invite you to submit your work to The Walsh Exchange. Our conference this year will focus on three categories: international institutions, international politics and security, and area studies. Examples of journals that publish papers similar to what we’re looking for include World Politics, International Security, and International Studies Quarterly. Feel free to contact us with any inquiries you may have. We look forward to reviewing your papers!
