About

Welcome to the website of The Walsh Exchange, an undergraduate research conference dedicated to international relations held in Washington D.C. Hosted by Georgetown University’s esteemed Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, this conference aspires to give undergraduate students an opportunity to showcase their work and to bring together IR enthusiasts for an exciting exchange of ideas.

The Fourth Annual Walsh Exchange was held from April 10-12, 2015. The Walsh Exchange 2015 Proceedings is now available for your perusal on our publications page. We have published the papers of last year’s presenters and hope that you will enjoy reading about their phenomenal projects. Information about the 2016 conference will be released as we finalize logistical details. Subscribe to our newsletter and connect with us via social media to hear about our latest developments.

The Walsh Exchange is produced in conjunction with the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service Dean’s Office, Mortara Center for International Studies, Lecture Fund, The Corp, and GU Student Association at Georgetown University.

Each year, this conference is made possible by the hard work of a steering committee and a group of senior advisors. Finally, we thank all of the students, professors, and presenters: without your energy and enthusiasm for international relations, this conference surely would not exist.
