Held in the cosmopolitan hub of Washington, D.C., the Walsh Exchange is an annual conference dedicated to promoting innovative undergraduate research in international relations by students around the world. To this end, the conference provides students with an opportunity to formally present their original research and receive constructive feedback from experienced scholars and professors, fellow panelists, and guests alike. Coordinated by Georgetown University students under the purview of the School of Foreign Service Dean’s Office, the Walsh Exchange provides a platform for presenters and guests to exchange ideas and broaden the scope of international relations research. We seek to inspire new dialogue, encourage more students to pursue research, and showcase the passion of the next generation of scholars.

The Walsh Exchange is produced in conjunction with the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service Dean’s Office, Mortara Center for International Studies, Lecture Fund, The Corp, and GU Student Association at Georgetown University.
